Safety

Safety is an integral part of WAV Inspection's operations. The strength of our safety program protects our employees, visitors, clients, suppliers, contractors, company property, and the environment. WAV maintains a safe work environment for all employees, visitors, contractors, and the public, and remains in compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation through the following:

• Employee education, orientation and training
• Hazard identification, assessment, and control
• Joint Work Site Health and Safety Committee and/or Representative
• Worksite inspections
• Other Parties at or in the vicinity of the work site
• Event (near miss, incident, and accident) reporting and investigations

WAV's goal is a healthy, injury-free workplace. Through our corporate and personal commitment and active participation, we will achieve that goal.

All of our personnel not only hold certification in the standard WHMIS, TDG, H₂S, Confined Space, and First Aid but may also obtain training in often overlooked areas such as Fall Arrest, Fire Safety Awareness, Radiation Safety, and Accident Investigation, to name a few.
